PDF in desktop app not showing up in web app

I'm trying to make sure my entire PDF library of highly organized and documented research articles (>2900) are uploaded and saved in the online version of zotero in case my old laptop dies. The problem is when I downloaded original PDFs in my zotero chrome extension they were all placed in individual folders with random ID names. I went onto my zotero online library and it stated that I do have the citations/bibliographic information but none of them have the attached PDFs that I do have in my desktop zotero application. What is the easiest way to transfer all of these PDF files over so that I can have them saved? Thanks

    Files sync automatically, but you're at your file storage quota, so additional files aren't being uploaded. You'll need to delete some files or add a storage subscription. If you're at an institution, add your institutional email address to your account in case they provide institutional storage.
