finding the icon to add a "Date Added" field--How to do this?

I'd like to add the "Date Added" field, but can't find the table-like icon anywhere in the center of the Zotero display. Could you show a picture?.

That icon does not exist. Went away some time ago.
Just right-click on the column headers (where it says "Title", "Creator", etc.) and the options will appear as a drop-down menu. You can check the one you want, uncheck the ones you don't want.
