People have reported this error before. I am a new Zotero user on windows, and have not been able to get citation to work. I have followed all suggested troubleshooting steps. I have current versions of Windows and Zotero. I have restarted my computer. I have deleted and reinstalled the Word integrator. I have a Zotero button in Word, but when i ask to add a citation I still get the error; "Zotero experienced an error updating your document". The only other symptom is "unable to load translators and styles" sometimes pops-up. I have checked Trust center and Windows startup is there. nevertheless, I feel there might be something going on with folder addressing or permissions.
