font of in-text citations

When I printed my thesis, it was in Times New Roman 12, but all my in-line citations were in Helvetica 12 instead.

I solved it by using "find by formatting" in MS Word, but I wonder if it is possible to have any control over this, and where.

I have had a look both in the Zotero preferences and in the parameters of the Zotero plugin on MS Word, but could not find anything.
  • Change the Normal formatting style in your Word document to use Times New Roman
  • FWIW, have found it incredibly hard to get the inserted citations to change font using Word Styles in Word for Windows (IIRC, there are other reports here on the forums, too). They remain in the original font even if the Normal font is changed, even when changing the Normal font after unlinking citations.

Happy to help debug this, but I'd be surprised if this isn't easily reproducible.
  • This was not a major issue to solve, with "find by formatting."

It's just that, retrospectively, I was wondering if I had done anything wrong / forgotten to do anything "right."

It could have been useful for next time (articles...).
