Can't Sync from Web to Mac

It's been over a year since I did anything with my Zotero library (except, or course, pay for it).

I have a new Mac, downloaded the latest Zotero app for MacOS, did a sync, and get this error message: "Some data in My Library could not be downloaded. It may have been saved with a newer version of Zotero."

Trouble is there IS no newer version, and I haven't added to the database for WELL OVER a year (probably more).

So what gives?? Any ideas? TIA!!
  • Can you provide a Debug ID for a sync that triggers this?

    Thank you!
  • [JavaScript Error: "Invalid field 'reportNumber' for type dataset" {file: "chrome://zotero/content/xpcom/data/item.js" line: 5093}]
It looks like you added some items of type Report with a Report Number value and "Type: dataset" in the Extra field. Now that there's an actual Dataset item type, that results in an error when Zotero tries to interpret that as a Dataset item, since Report Number isn't valid for Dataset items.

We'll have to fix this, but for now you can search for those items and change them to Dataset items manually.
