beta 7 : selecting text from note

Something sticky about the way the text formatting is currently working in 7.0.0-beta.33. In both the annotation and the notes pain, selecting a specific string of text -- a phrase from a sentence, for example, copying, and then pasting copies the entire annotation. Also selection is hard to view now as the mouse doesn't paint the text.

A screenshot doesn't show it well. If you try to change the formatting (for example) inside a right-hand-pane note containing annotations, the cursor doesn't show what text is selected. The format will change if you select bold etc, but you can't see what you're going to change.

Once again regarding the first issue. I'm only aware about the issue when copying highlighted text part from annotations sidebar. What exactly is the problem with the note editor pane? Could you write down the steps to reproduce the issue once again?

Now about the second issue. Do you mean if you select a text, there is no color background set for the selected text? Which operating system do you use? Do you have any plugins?

I was using this css https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/86855/make-note-editor-beautiful. Reset to the default values fixes the problem -- the background of the selected text is greyed with the mouse.
