import bibliographies created by another tool?

I have a list in Word document of some bibliographies that are created using another tool than zotero. This means that most of these refs are not in my library. Can I use the list and import these refs somehow in zotero in one click or so rather than doing it one by one. Example here:

as, T.S., Ytrestøyl, T., Åsgård, T.E., Skøien, K.R., Alver, M.O., Alfredsen, J.A., 2015. Feed intake in Atlantic salmon fed with two different spreading patterns of feed. Nofima.

  • Given that they all have DOIs, the fastest most accurate way would be to copy those out and use the magic wand tool in Zotero to import them. You can paste a whole list of them, one on each line, into the magic wand field at once

You can also parse plain text bibliographies using https://anystyle.IO and import into Zotero
  • Try this website : https://citation-finder.vercel.app/
I pasted your bibliography, it works well except for the 1975' article.

if i have a long list how to select the doi part and then add them to the magic zotero part?
  • so now the document I have (word) have all the intext citations and bibliography which I imported using the magic want field in one click but now any possibliity to link the intext citation and biobioloprahy (these are done previously using another tool) with zotero so I update all the refs using zotero, etc

I'm afraid there is no other option than manually replacing those citations one by one. You might want to look up/set custom shortcuts for the Word add-in to make this process a little bit faster. See https://www.zotero.org/support/word_processor_plugin_usage#keyboard_commands
