Problem with a site using LiveChat

Hi,

When using Zotero's Connector with Edge on a site using LiveChat, the connector doesn't add the article. Instead, it adds "Contact us via LiveChat!" to Zotero library.

Computer running Windows 11 (22H2), Zotero 6.0.26, Zotero Connector 5.0.110, Edge 114.0.1823.58.

  • My guess is that the Connector was trying to save the content as generic webpage. The LiveChat widget on the page could be interfering with this.

    For Zotero to correctly understand the content and save the metadata, a translator script has to be written. The programming is what I can do, but that's almost the easiest part. I'm not well-read in legal matters and I need to understand the content better -- especially given the great diversity of content in the CAIJ databases.
