Account linked to institutional subscription not getting unlimited storage

I am a librarian at Tufts University helping a faculty member. Tufts has an Institutional Subscription, which gives unlimited storage.

The faculty member had an existing, free Zotero account. and In "Manage Email Addresses" in Settings on Zotero.com they added their tufts.edu email and made it the primary email. However, they still only have the free storage, and not unlimited storage.

Are there additional steps that need to be taken?

  • No, it should take effect almost immediately after they add their tufts.edu email address and show in their storage (note that it will show on the left side, while the right side will still show the free personal storage level they would have if they did not qualify for an institutional subscription).

    It's also not necessary for it to by the user's primary email address.

    If they're still having issues, they can email storage@zotero.org with details.
