Zotero 7 beta not showing up in Automation settings for Word

    I have the same problem with Mac M1 and Microsoft Word. Once I opened my System Settings, selected “Privacy & Security” in the left column and selected "Automation", there is no Zotero program popping up, in fact, there is no program showing up, at all. How can I allow to provide control?
    (Unfortunately Mac is not showing a Report ID).

    (Note that you can always provide a Report ID, though we don't need it here.)

    Thanks for the link. So I did exactly what the description says in the link: I installed the latest Zotero 6 beta Version and updated it to the newest Zotero 7 beta Version (Help --> Newest Update). Still, I get the message from Word that Word could not communicate. In my system settings no change.

    No, you have to actually use Word integration in the Zotero 6 beta in order to trigger the prompt.

    Install 6 beta, use Word integration, trigger and accept the prompt, update to Z7
