Preserving carriage returns or line breaks from Abstract field
Hello:
Please excuse me if this question has been asked before and if so, please just direct me to the correct form. I am also not very experienced with coding.
I am trying to create an annotated bibliography. I have put the annotations into the "abstract" section and managed to edit the APA style to get the annotations output in the bibliography that I export as an .rtf file. However, when I open the document using MS Word 365, there are no returns in the abstract section. Based on my reading of various threads in this forum, I have tried inserting the command just above the line in the bibliography section at the end of the style routine.
Thanks for any assistance you can offer.

I don't know what (if any) the reason behind that is.
