On an iPad Pro, reading a pdf and highlighting text caused it to crash.
It was a visuals-heavy PDF, rather than a black and white text document, so perhaps that caused it?
Highlighting was changing the color of the text from black to green, rather than placing a highlight box behind it— so maybe that is also a clue. Or maybe that was new with the update yesterday. Had not seen that type of highlight before, and did not choose it myself.

dstillmanCan you reproduce this? If so, can you send the PDF in question to support@zotero.org with a link to this thread and provide exact steps to reproduce here?

michalrentkaedited March 7, 2023@hillarydesres this is possibly fixed in beta 1.0.12-2. I'll update you when it's available, but it would be great if you could try to reproduce the issue in beta and let us know whether it's fixed for you.
