zotero's built-in PDF reader is slow

zotero's built-in PDF reader is slow. When you open multiple PDF documents, they reload when you switch between them, and they load slowly. Once in a while, when you open a PDF and load a lot of pictures on the page, the picture content will appear one by one, very slowly.

I hope they can optimize it and look forward to zotero's update.

    Yes, it is very slow, but it is a known issue which is highly dependent on the Firefox PDF.js, which is the core of the Zotero reader. The developers have said that it will improve when in the next PDF.js version which will be incorporated in Zotero 7. In the meantime, I have found that converting color pdf's to B&W pdf's makes things much faster and smoother.
