"Zotero experienced an error updating your document" Error due to OneDrive

On https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/debugging_broken_documents it says that to resolve this error, try removing spaces in the filename if the file is saved in OneDrive.

I did that, and the issue was resolved. I made this post to mention that even characters like: _ - | cause this error.

Hope this helps the dev sort out the issue.

    Hello. Just to report in case it helps the developers. What is described above has just happened to me (for the first time, after using Zotero and OneDrive for years).

    Removing the spaces from the filename also resolved the issue, as did copying the file to a local unsynced folder.
