Upgrade StorageZotero and endnote together

When I sent my work to my supervisor last year, who worked on it and sent it back, all of my citations became unlinked. Is this because they have endnote in their word which changes the fields, and is there a way to stop it from happening? I need my citations active as I enter my references in last :)

dstillmanI don't think EndNote should interfere — more likely that they saved the document in the wrong file format. See Existing Citations Not Detected.
