Translator request: e-periodica.ch

Hi,
I'd like to suggest including translators for the e-periodica.ch website. It's an archive of many, many Swiss journals and magazines, and is quickly relevant for any research in relation to the country. So far, I've been downloading PDFs and adding them manually to Zotero, which works to some extent (typically missing the name of the publication, volume and issue).

I'm interested and would like to contribute if I can. I have never written a web translator before, but I'd like to learn... is this urgent?

This looks more difficult than I thought: I don't see much metadata in the E-periodica web pages. Perhaps you can use their RIS export instead?

@aborel -- this actually wouldn't be a bad site to start with when exploring coding translators. The RIS is easily accesible simply by adjusting the URL:
https://www.e-periodica.ch/ris?pid=ant-001:2017:56::190
as is the PDF
https://www.e-periodica.ch/cntmng?pid=ant-001:2017:56::190

which is really all you need. The translator editor already has a template for using RIS import built in. Any additional questions on the coding part would be better on the Zotero dev group, though

Hello @sjsunderland,

I finally got the translator to work (it was slightly less simple than I assumed). I have submitted it to the Zotero code maintainers:

If you would like to take a look, feel free to install it manually - I'm sure extra testing will be useful.

@sjsunderland the translator has been reviewed by the experts, improved thanks to their feedback, and today it has become part of the Zotero translators package.
