Where is the p./pp. prefix located in APA 7th edition?

Hi,

I am using a localized version of APA 7th edition that gets the correct term for p./pp. when setting a page number (locator) in an inline citation, but the correct localization requires for it to be a suffix, instead of a prefix. I can't for the life of me find where this is set (tried the Github apa.csl file, my local apa.csl file, the Transifex Zotero localization... nothing). Any clue, anyone?

OK, answering myself, I just found it in https://github.com/citation-style-language/locales/blob/master/locales-eu.xml . Now I just need to figure how to change it from a prefix to a suffix...

It's a label, not a prefix (you can't localize affixes), specifically
<label variable="locator" form="short"/>
in line 1858 of the current APA 7 style. The position of labels can't be localized, though. Which language is that for?

Thanks! It's for Basque. It's translated correctly ("or." for "p."), but outputs as "or. 0" while it should be "0 or.". Any way to fix this?

Yes, I'm afraid no way to do that (without modifying the style) currently or in the near future.

I may not have been clear: it's not possible to modify the style to localize correctly in both English (and most other languages) and Basque if it requires changing the relative location of elements. If you just want a version working in Basque, that's pretty straightforward by changing the order of label and variable in the macro that contains the line above.

OK, got it. I might post a PR to the Github repo to have a dedicated Basque version of APA then, as I've seen there is for Turkish. Thanks!

Just for the record, the PR is created and passing, waiting to be merged I guess: https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/pull/6370

One more thing though, even if the `citation-locator` macro is correct now, it's still showing as `pp. 00-00` in the "Bibliography" section (list of full references) and book chapters, for example, also need to be tweaked. Where are those set in the `.csl` file? Thanks!

The pages for book chapters are handled in the "volume-booklike" macro.
