Toggle creator type drop-down menu

It seems to me that the creator type drop-down menu should toggle when it is selected repeatedly by left-clicking or by pressing the space key multiple times in a row. At least that's how the drop-down menus in the New Item menu, the Quick Search mode menu, and the Locate menu work.

    By toggle you mean appear and disappear, right? Yeah, I think the current behavior (on Windows in my case) where you have to click somewhere else to have it disappear feels buggy. Not sure if that's always been the case or is a regression.

    Yes, I meant appear and disappear. This might indeed be a regression. I think there was some work related to the keyboard accessibility.
