populating my zotero app on iPad with my pdfs

I have Zotero on my iPad. How do I download my entire library from my Mac (containing ~15000 pdfs) onto my iPad so that I have all files available locally on my iPad even when I am not connected to the internet? Is there a way to copy my library by exporting it to dropbox and then downloading via dropbox onto my iPad or my only option is to upgrade storage and then sync? thank you for all the help.
  • 1) Only stored files are supported in the iOS app.

    2) The iOS app currently downloads files as needed by default, but you'll be able to set it to download all files at sync time in an upcoming version. It's also possible to tap-and-hold on a collection and select the option to download all files within that collection.
  • That bit about tapping and holding on a collection to download all the files -- super, really helpful. Is there some documentation with this and other features of the iPad app are written out? Thanks
