Workflow using Scrivener and Quick Copy / Zotero links

  • Might someone be able to describe, or direct me to a description of, a workflow using Scrivener and quick copy / Zotero-links (rather than the Better BibTex dependent workflow I am using now?) A workflow that still results in a .docx with live Zotero fields in it...
  • You can't get active Zotero citations via copy and paste. Only the word processor plugins can create those.

The "links" being described in the thread you posted to are literal clickable links that take you back to Zotero.
  • Thanks for the clarification!
  • There is a lua filter on the Better BibTex website that can turn plain-text citekey into live zotero fields after converting from .md to .docx files. (See https://retorque.re/zotero-better-bibtex/exporting/pandoc/)
