iPad doesn’t go to sleep with Zotero iOS

iPad Pro 2020 w/ iPadOS 15.3.1
Zotero iOS 1.0 (192) but this issue happened with earlier builds.

My iPad will not dim/go to sleep sometimes even Zotero is set to allow device to go to sleep.
  • Is this in the PDF reader or elsewhere in the app?

Both - the pdf reader and the main UI (collections) - when this issue happens. Force quitting and restarting the app seems to fix it.
  • +1
iPad Air 5 with iPadOS 15.5 and the newest Zotero iOS (set to allow the device to sleep)

If I rest on the Zotero with pdf annotation, the device will never automatically turn off the screen even for several hours!
  • iPad air5 with iPadOS 15.7 and the newest Zotero iOS(version 1.0.3 Build 5).
The problem still exists! Is there any way to help solve it? orz
  • Can you still reproduce this with 1.0.4?
  • Think you, dstillman. It worked well with 1.0.4!!!
However, after updating to iPadOS 16.1, the problem arises again.
  • This problem still exsits.

Zotero Version 1.0.8 Bulid 10 on iPadOS 16.2 (iPad Pro 2022, 12.9 inch), when turn on the "Allow device to sleep" in the PDFreader, the screen of iPad is always on.

When open the Zotero App, in the app interface, the stcreen is also always on.
