Annotating in a Group Library Pdf

Although this post said you can annotate pdfs on Z (https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/highlighting_and_annotating_pdfs), can these annotations be accessible to members in a shared group folder? Noting that syncing is active on this shared library...

    Yes, the major reason for many of the design choices in the Zotero PDF Reader was to facilitate collaboration in annotation in Group PDFs

    Is there any way to "reply" to annotations? Currently my group members are just adding additional notes but it'd be great if we could keep things more organized in a thread of comments on an annotation. Thanks!
