Migration from Mendeley

Hello,

I have imported via the Mendeley Reference Manager. It took several hours and it indicated that the import is complete.
But I am still missing about 1000 items compared to my Mendeley database.
Why were not all articles imported?
Should I try the import again?

Thank you.
  • You can try reimporting. As far as I know it will continue where it last stopped and not redo everything from scratch.
  • Do you see those missing references in Mendeley library online (not desktop)?
  • Thank you for your comments.

Mendeley library online and desktop are equivalent.

Interestingly, I re-imported and Zotero now contains 10 more.
I have no idea how to figure out where the excess came from, but I'll live with it.
  • Are you sure that this is not an issue of duplicated entries within your library being counted more than once or being removed during import?
  • If you're still missing items after re-import, could you please run it again, this time with debug enabled, and post debug id here?
  • @tnajdek

I am not missing after re-import anything.
The result was the opposite I had more files, maybe due to duplicated entries as suggested by @waynerroper.

I continued working in Zotero and everything is fine.

    Thank you.
