Problem with extracting annotations

Hi there,

I've been having trouble extracting notes from PDFs. Zotero will only extract a couple of highlights when there are actually a lot more annotations in the file. By the way, I've been using the native Zotero PDF reader. Has this been happening to you too?

    How did you create the annotations, and how are you trying to extract them?

    Thanks for your quick reply. I just highlighted text and a few images using the native PDF reader and then clicked on the "Add note from annotations" after right-clicking on the PDF in my library. I have a couple of screenshots I could show you but I can't figure out how to embed pictures here.

    Did you change the default note template for highlights?

    Go to the Config Editor in the Advanced pane of the preferences, search for "notetemplate", and reset extensions.zotero.annotations.noteTemplates.highlight if you changed it.
