Making Highlights

Hello,

I have a literature folder on my computer. And I typically open the pdf's in adobe (due to default preferences and not being used to zotero's view function). Then I read them and highlight them, add comments and such.
But when I upload them in zotero, they lose all those comments and highlights.

I was wondering if there is a way to keep those edits across the uploading process.

    My suggestion is to use Zoteros pdf viewer, has improved a lot, still missing some advance features, but it is really good to hightlight, comments and extract images.

    @pgjhmb: Not clear what you mean here when you say "when I upload them in zotero, they lose all those comments and highlights". Could you explain exactly what you're doing and what's happening? See Steps to Reproduce.
