Need Help Editing Chicago Full Note Citation Style
Hi, I am still trying to edit the Chicago Manual style 17th edition (full note) so that it does not abbreviate my citations. My paper needs every endnote citation (even if already cited) to be the full note. I've been trying to edit it but for some reason, it continues to abbreviate duplicated citations. Please let me know how to fix this. Thanks.
In the "citation" part you'll find a section called "layout". In there is a conditional with subsequent/ibid and then an else. Remove everything in there, but the stuff inside the "else".
Make sure the style validates: https://validator.citationstyles.org/
