Save to Zotero on a web page of the "PDF Viewer" extension
I once installed 3rd-party PDF Viewer extensions, like https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/pdf-viewer/oemmndcbldboiebfnladdacbdfmadadm and https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/pdf-viewer-for-vimium-c/nacjakoppgmdcpemlfnfegmlhipddanj. The second one can work with Vimium C's shortcuts, which is more convenient than Chrome's private PDF viewer.
But Zotero Connector doesn't recognize such tabs and its browser icon will do nothing when I click it.
I think it's possible to add supports for these extensions - maybe just need to add a simple advanced option - because they put PDF links into their URLs, like:
* chrome-extension://oemmndcbldboiebfnladdacbdfmadadm/https://example.com/file.pdf
* chrome-extension://oemmndcbldboiebfnladdacbdfmadadm/content/web/viewer.html?file=https%3A%2F%2Fexample2.com%2Ffile.pdf
Then an option to parse real PDF URLs from those matching specified prefixes would be enough.
Any ideas about this?
