Zotero for Google Slides

I've noticed I can use Zotero with google docs, but it doesn't seem to work with google slides. Is there an additional connector for google slides? Or a "back-way" into being able to use google slides?
Is there another slide-show (free) type of app that I'd be able to use that DOES connect with zotero?

    You can use Zotero with pandoc/RMarkdown (z especially with the BetterBibTeX plugin) and go to various slide formats, but not currently any graphical slide apps

    Hi, is this still the case, that there are no graphical slide apps that Zotero can work with elegantly? Thanks!

    Yes, nothing new here. Obviously you _can_ use quick copy with slides, it's just word processor integration that doesn't work. At least for Powerpoint I know that's simply not technically possible.
