zotero plugin cannot be installed in LibreOffice on Mac

Hi!

I have installed LO 7.2 on MacOS (10.15.7 Catalina). The problem is that the Zotero (6.0.8 for mac) plugin cannot be installed in LO. I have installed JKD 18.01/17.02/17.01. Nothing works so far.

I have also manually installed plugin, to no avail. The strange thing is there are button on LO toolbar (only words not icon!), but they don't work if I click them. Can anyone help?

    Meaning what, exactly? What happens?

    You should uninstall the extension completely from LO and try again with a manual installation.

    Followed your suggestion and it works. But there is another problem: for the file I originally created in MS word, i cannot edit/create citations. It only works for newly created OL file. I followed the system instruction to change the zotero setting to Bookmarks in word, but then the fn all became messy. I guess there is no cure to this.
