Current storage does not change after deleting files

I am subscribing a 2GB plan. Since the quota has been full for a while, I try deleting a significant amount of files. Even after I deleted at least 200MB of sync files, the number at https://www.zotero.org/settings/storage does not change at all for half an hour. Does anyone have this kind of experience?
