Using the IEEE citation style, and can't get consecutive numbering after saving and reopening the document (Word). Originally looks like this:

"Blah blah blah [1,2], blah blah blah [3]. Blaaaaah blah [4]."

Now, whenever I try to add a citation, it start from 1 again. Doesn't matter if I'm writing at the start, middle or end of the document, newly added references start from [1] again:

"Blah blah blah [1,2] blah blah blah [3]. Blaaaaah blah [4]. Completely new sentence [1]."
