Can Zotero for iOS downgrade the required iOS version?

I have a iPad mini 2 and the max IOS version it can achieve is 12.5.5, however, the minimum version required is 14.7. This prevents me from installing Zotero on my mini.
Anyone have a way to deal with the issue?

    No, sorry. The app requires OS features that aren't available in older iOS versions.
