Upgrade StorageTwo issues since latest update

as a PhD student I am using Zotero for many years now.
Since I updated Zotero though, I have experienced two issues.
1. When I drag and drop PDF files into Zotero, there was no issue with the metadata before as everything has been recognized. However, when I now drag and drop PDFs to Zotero, it will take a while until the data is updated and some important elements (such as the year) are missing, which means that I need to check and write down important elements manually (something that I did not need to do before).
2. Also, I appreciate the Zotero-reader, but when I drag and drop the file from Zotero on to my desktop, the highlighted parts (annotation) are gone. Am I doing something wrong? When I use AdobeReader in Zotero though, all annotations are still there.
