area selection annotation doesn't include a link back to PDF

When I drag-and-drop an annotation made from selected OCR'ed text into Obsidian, I get the link back to pdf. But when I drag an annotation from a selected area I don't get the pdf link, only the link to the item. In the Beta, it was possible to link directly to the selected area. Can we have that back? Thank you for the all new features!

    I don't get anything when dragging image annotation into an external text editor. Normally it should do exactly the same as Markdown export (by default).

    We will look into that.

    Thanks! If I add a comment to the image, I can drag-and-drop the comment + link to the item, but not the image nor link to pdf.
