When Firefox users click on the Download button for Zotfile, they are prompted with an error message: "The add-on downloaded from this site could not be installed because it appears to be corrupt."
Of course, the "Save link as" option provides a workaround, and then it works fine.
However, it is very discouraging. Thanks.
