Export linked PDFs with annotations to Group library

I have a library with items that I've tagged. Those PDFs are linked to their original location on a USB stick. I want to export My library with the PDFs annotated to a Group library. When I try this, the pdfs do not follow.

I thought about exporting my library with files and annotations but I don't have enough space on my tablet, usb stick or Zotero storage to export my library altogether. I tried and it crashed.

Is there a simple solution I'm not seeing?

    Linked files aren't supported in groups and so are currently skipped when dragging items to groups, but we have an open ticket to convert those to stored files automatically. We'll try to get to that soon.
