Indent in new editor?

edited February 4, 2022
Can I put an indent in new editor?
I can indent in a bulleted or numbered list by tab.
However I can't indent with normal paragraphs.
  • Paragraph indentation didn't work very well in the old note editor. In the new editor this is not supported. This feature is more common for fully fledged word processors.

Could you explain how indents could be useful for you?

    Thanks for your reply.
I usually copy and paste some list from plain text editor.

    In old editor,

    1) copy and paste list

    Chapter 1.
    1. aaa
    2. bbb
    Chapter 2.
    1. aaa
    2. bbb

    2) indent some line by Tab (... means tabbed space)

    Chapter 1.
    ... 1. aaa
    ... 2. bbb
    Chapter 2.
    ...1. aaa
    ...2. bbb

    --------------------

However, in new editor, list pasted look like :

    Chapter 1.

    1. aaa

    2. bbb

    Chapter 2.

    1. aaa

    2. bbb

That is, all the lines are pasted as paragraph.

In the case, I have to (1) make bulleted list, (2) use Tab to indent.

Actually what I want is old-styled one.
  • @compunk: We've restored paragraph indenting in 6.0.3, available now via Help → Check for Updates. You can press Tab and Shift-Tab to indent and unindent the current paragraph.
  • Thank you for this!
