Checkboxes for tag selection

Hi. It would be great to have the ability to use checkboxes (or the like) to select the tags I want to apply to an item in the library. I understand how to add tags one at a time and I take advantage of the matching suggested tags. However, having the ability to view the complete list of available tags and to click the ones that are appropriate would not only save time, it would remind me of tags I've used before (many dozens) so I would be less likely to inadvertently omit one (or more). Thank you for the consideration!

You can drag items onto tags in the tag pane below the collection list to tag them. You can also assign colors to tags and use numbers 1 through 9 on your keyboard to assign them onto your items.

Thank you. The colors and numbers are helpful (although when switching tabs between Info, Notes, Tags and Related, the item in the center pane turns gray and then using the numbers to tag items doesn't work until the item is selected again). Nonetheless, I still think using a checklist would be great.
