Upgrade StorageGTK Issues on Linux
My system wide GTK theme on my laptop (which is running with KDE) is a dark theme, which isn't supported properly by the app (text is illegible, etc). While I know https://github.com/Rosmaninho/Zotero-Dark-Theme exists to fix this, I'd actually rather have a light theme for Zotero.
But, when I try to set environment variables to override the default GTK theme (I've tried GTK_THEME and GTK2_RC_FILES), Zotero still launches with the default dark system theme.
I assume this is because the environment variable doesn't get recognized/picked up by the underlying chrome browser Zotero uses. Is there any way to fix this such that Zotero will actually override the system GTK theme? Zotero appears to override the system theme on Windows, but not on Linux.
