Problem in changing network storage location and relocating files.

Hi,
I'm trying to change the storage location in onedrive on windows 10.
My old onedrive data was strored on the C disc. But now I changed it to F disc,
When I want to open the pdf file.
It shows:

"The attached file could not be found at the following path:

/Users/name/OneDrive/zotero/Attachment/Sensing et al. - 2007 - 6 . Current status of GIS , remote sensing and map.pdf

It may have been moved or deleted outside of Zotero, or a Linked Attachment Base Directory may be set incorrectly on one of your computers."

I tried to use zotfile by right click-manage attachment-rename
It showed

"Zotfile Warning: Skipped attachments

Attachments skipped because they are top-level items, snapshots of the file does not exist. "

How can I solve this problem?

That's a Mac path. You have to set the linked attachment base directory correctly on your Mac, and then sync, and then set the Linked Attachment Base Directory correctly on this PC, and then sync.
  • I have a similar problem, but this explanation doesn't provide me with any guidance on what to do. I've been directed to the "linked attachment base directory" multiple times now, and I have set up the base directory in the Preferences/Advanced/Files and Folders section, but how can I convert the existing attachment links (of which there are hundreds) from fixed to relative?
