Style Error: [Scientific reports]

Hi! I am using Zotero last version (2014) of Scientific Reports style (https://www.zotero.org/styles?q=id:scientific-reports) which doesn't seem correct to me.

It gives in-text citation with superscript numbers while the journal requires numbers within square brackets. Reference lists are fine.

    If you check their actual typeset papers (i.e. the .pdf version) you'll see they use superscript numbers. (Guidelines are oftentimes outdated and hence we go by the actual papers)

    https://www.zotero.org/styles?q=id:scientific-reports just links to the nature.csl style as a dependent style and as mentioned in the guidelines "At Scientific Reports, we use the standard Nature referencing style.".

    I'd submit the paper with the style provided. If the editors say something, please revert back to this thread and let us know, but I doubt it. Good luck with your paper. :)
