Can't drag and drop references into Word
Can't drag and drop references from Zotero on Firefox 3.5.2 to Word documents.
Read earlier posts on this issue (e.g., http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/1965/) but my preference for quick copy was set - changed it around just to make sure. Restarted Firefox. Upgraded to Zotero 1.0.10 to 2.0b6.5 to see if that fixed the problem and it didn't.
What silly thing am I missing? Is there something more to setting the quick copy preferences than choosing, e.g., Chicago Manual of Style?
Thanks!

Do you get an error report that you can send?
I don't get an error message -- I can "see" the citation (as I used to when I was able to drag and drop before) but when I release the mouse, it just jumps back to my Zotero window.
I can drag and drop into other applications such as bbedit and pages.
I can ctrl-alt-c to copy, but then it looses formatting, which is mildly annoying, but what I've been doing lately.
I will try the Word plugin! I never really enjoyed using the Word plugin for Endnote, but maybe this is different and I thank you for that suggestion.
I would still like to be able to drag and drop, though -- I find that handy. But perhaps there's just something wrong with my Word.
Thank you!
I especially like it with a keyboard shortcut set up:
(in Word, right click any menu up top, choose "Configure" at the bottom, then the "Keyboard" button, again at the bottom. Select "Macros" on the left and then set the keyboard shortcuts for Zotero options on the right. I use Alt-C for putting a citation (the only one you need really). Doesn't conflict with anything)
I am using Zotero 3.0 and Mac OS 10.5 so the Word plug-in is not compatible with this operating system. It is not my computer (work) so I cannot upgrade the operating system. This only started happening a little while ago, after I had already been using the drag and drop feature for about an hour (I have been using Zotero for at least a year and have never had this problem before). I have re-started Firefox two times, and it still doesn't work. I'm probably missing something obvious, but not sure what else to try. Thanks.
Also try dragging other items to make sure this isn't limited to a particular item.
If you're still having trouble, provide a Debug ID for a drag attempt that fails.
