Pulling Database Reference into Citations for Journal Article (Chicago 17ed fullnote)

I entered a database in the Library Catalog field for a Journal Article and the information will not pull into my footnotes or bibliography. The citation style called for is Chicago 17 edition (full note). Can this be done? If so, how?

What do you want to achieve when you say "pull down the information"?

I want the database name to be included (displayed) in my footnote and bibliography for the Journal Article.

In that case, the citation style would need to be modified to include the "source" variable.
Do you have access to CMoS and can verify if this is mentioned in the guidelines?
