mismatch between citation and biblography

when I am modifying the citation sequence in bibliography list inside the program , unfortunately , this modification doesn't apply in my document

    Right, not sure how that could even work. Don't do anything manually with bibliographies, especially not numeric ones

    thanks adam, but how do I arrange the citation sequences to be suited with bibliography sequence withiout doing this manually

    You'd have to modify the style.
    1. Which style are you using?
    2. The modification you're looking for, is that an error with the style or just a personal modification you want?

    thank you damnation , IEEE is the style I have used.these modifications resulted from
    variation in document paragraphs,however ,we already vary pragraph location in academic writing.

    Sorry, having a hard time following this -- are you saying the numbers don't update when you move paragraphs around? In that case, have you tried using "Refresh"?
