'Settings' should link to http://www.zotero.org/settings/profile

The Profile Settings are more important/more high traffic than the Account Settings. So clicking on 'Settings' should bring one to http://www.zotero.org/settings/profile in one go (right now this requires another click on the 'Profile' tab).

    Bumping this. It's simple and I think it is clear that users more often make changes to their profile than to their email and password.

    Relatedly, when you click on a user name in a forum message, there's no link to their profile, which is probably what you're interested in. For example, you read this message and think, "who is this bozo anyhow?" and click on my user name.

    mark, however, does have a link to his profile there. (cf. alexuw or tjowens) Howdyadoodat??

    He added custom information under Account Options >Personal Information

    Combining profiles is on the list of things to do but fairly low priority. Simply adding a link from the forum profile to the zotero profile should probably be done in the meantime.

    Anyone who wants to do this, note this is your forum settings not your zotero profile settings. From any forum page click "Account" under Quick Links. Then "Personal Information" and you can enter name-value pairs.
