When will the Apple m1 chip be natively supported?

If the software can natively support the m1 chip, it should run faster.

But one reason for this apparent lack of haste is that performance is considered completely acceptable using Rosetta. Where and why do you need Zotero to run faster? Perhaps there are other ideas to explore while we wait for the m1 native build?
