Upgrade StorageHelp: How to move citations/files from a collection to main My Library folder?
It doesn't appear it is possible to move citation/file out of a collection into the main root My Library folder--to un-collection an item (e.g., notes)? Unlike dragging to another collection, When I drag a citation, note or pdf, for example, from a collection to the My Library folder nothing happens. Is there some advanced config option or short-cut to use?

happysadhuTo answer me, right-click on an item and select "Remove item from Collection".
