Obtaining a debug ID for syncing issues

I am trying to help a colleague of mine sync their desktop Zotero account with their online account. The have been granted access to a group library we will be using. They are able to see the group library we want them to sync with but they are unable to sync the files within the group library to their desktop app. I have seen previous forums about obtaining a debug ID for this issue, but I don't know how to do that.
