Upgrade StorageZotfile URLs no longer opening PDFs from external
Hi,
I've been using Zotfile and mdnotes to extract annotations from PDFs, convert them to markdown, and import them into an external markdown editor (I use Joplin) as explained in this video: https://youtu.be/_Fjhad-Z61o?t=860. He uses Obsidian, but this shouldn't make a difference. This workflow worked fine a few days ago.
However, the links generated and imported into my markdown editor no longer open PDFs, despite being clickable. Its like they can't contact Zotero anymore, as clicking the links directly in the extracted annotations note works as expected. I have also tried to copy this URL from the note, pasted it into external editors such as Word or Joplin, and neither work.
I did upgrade to the Zotero preview beta and subsequently downgraded back to the current version (5.0.96.3), which coincided with the issue at hand occurring. I have also updated Joplin in that time, and installed some add-ons in both Zotero and Joplin (I know, not ideal for troubleshooting. Hindsight is 20/20).
Anyone got any ideas for solving this (i.e. zotfile URLs in external editors not opening PDF)? Maybe its something simple I've overlooked... Any help appreciated!:)
