zotero bibliography

I have been using Zotero with out any problems until recently. I am able to insert a citation into my text, however, it is not turning my citation into a reference in my bibliography. Any help would be greatly appreciated

    Could you say more about what exactly you're doing and what's happening? We need both of the things requested here:

    I have placed all of my references into the Zotero programme. When I am writing my text and I want to insert a citation I click on Zotero in Microsoft word and then click add/edit citation. A little box appears and I write the name of the journal then click the relevant one and press enter. the citation comes up in the text but then it doesn't turn it into a Harvard reference.

    Did you set a Harvard (=author-date) citation style under "Document Preferences"?

    Did you click on the "Add Bibliography" button?

    Ye I set it to Harvard when I click on the programme. I have just done what you mentioned about clicking the bibliography and it has just turned it into a reference. Thanks for your help on this
